VirtualCallboard Billing System Change

We would like to make you aware of the following change to our Terms of Service and automated billing system.

Since we launched VirtualCallboard, monthly invoices were sent at the end of the month for the previous month’s service.  We’ve noticed that it’s caused confusion among some customers – especially as it relates to the 30 day trial we offer all new customers and as it relates to charges due upon deactivation of a VirtualCallboard.

In order to clarify our billing procedures, the following changes are effective as of Sept 5:

  • VirtualCallboard invoices will now be for the coming month’s service.  Each invoice pre-pays upcoming service.
  • Existing monthly customers will not be invoiced for the current monthly billing period.  Your next invoice will come as scheduled, but will be a pre-pay invoice for the next billing period.  (Congratulations – you just got 30 days for service for free!)
  • Existing annual customers will be invoiced for the coming year on the anniversary of the date of their first invoice, thus also giving them the free 30 day trial period.
  • New customers receive a 30 day free trial.  They will not be billed for this period.

Please review these changes as they have been reflected in our Terms of Service.

We think this will be a clarifying change that positively affects all our customers.  If you have any questions or concerns on how this affects your billing agreement, please contact us at billing@virtualcallboard.com.
